Administer JIRA (Core and Software), Fisheye/Crucible, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket Server, and Crowd instances, and formulate technical solutions using JIRA and associated JIRA plugins/Atlassian Products.
• Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as needed
• Maintain and setup Jira Service Desk projects and the associated reporting required
• Create custom workflows, post functions, validators
• Make changes to workflows, screens, fields and reporting
• Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance
• Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK
• Design & manage JIRA/Confluence queries, dashboards for metrics reporting for various teams
• Serve as the JIRA / Atlassian technical resource Subject Matter Expert for migrations to ensure adoption of development/workflow processes, address user questions and develop training as needed
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures. Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. Serve as technical expert on development projects. Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
typically has 7 years relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have up to 2-3 years of experience including:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, orrelated field
Core Java, XML, JSP, SQL experience
Linux, DB administration, Tomcat serverconfig/tuning, JVM tuning
Hands on JIRA Core or JIRA Software (FormerlyJIRA Agile), Fisheye/Crucible, Crowd, and Confluence experience
Ability to create complex JIRA workflows, screenschemes, permission schemes, notification schemes
Experience using/extending REST servicesprovided by Atlassian
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Excellent problem-solving skills, processimplementation skills
Experience developing JIRA/Atlassian pluginsusing Atlassian SDK
Knowledge of agile, continuous integration practicesstrongly preferred
Defining, designing, and implementing metricsstrongly preferred
Experience in DevOps and Docker/Kubernetes/PCFAzure platform
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)knowledge preferred
