Job Summary

  • This position requires the selected candidate to office at or near Walmart’s corporate offices located in Bentonville, Arkansas and reside in the immediate area.

  • Role will report directly to McKesson’s Lead Account Manager which offices in Las Colinas, Texas.

  • McKesson’s on-site contact to support all Walmart related businesses.

  • Account objectives are reviewed by Vice President of RNA Sales, Vice President of Support Solutions and Senior Management in collaboration with Walmart to determine success of operating plan.

  • Involved in developing, modifying and executing both Walmart and McKesson policies which affect immediate operations.

  • Interacts with McKesson’s Sales Team, Senior Management and executive level personnel on matters concerning many functional areas (Analytics, Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, Finance, Rebates, Regulatory, etc.).

  • Collaboratively manage ongoing relations of the market with operations, sales, credit, finance and other field or corporate organizations in order to optimize business results and customer satisfaction.

  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Responsible for representing the McKesson by consistently demonstrating McKesson’s ICARE and ILEAD shared principles.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Provide “best in class” service, support and value for all Walmart office and store associates.

  • Accountable for understanding the McKesson-Walmart Supply Agreement commitments and for flawless execution of the agreement and on-boarding of new Walmart opportunities.

  • Provide support on all day-to-day issues, store returns support and McKesson Connect in collaboration with McKesson’s Lead Account Manager for Walmart.

  • Participate in sales team presentations to further enhance business growth opportunities, enhance selling skills and gain knowledge of customer.

Replenishment Support

  • Work directly with Walmart replenishment team on replenished items.

  • Review purchase trends to adjust forecast as applicable.

  • Perform allocation analysis on inventory and review out of stock issues to report to Walmart.

  • Create inventory reporting of large quantity on-hand items for Walmart pharmacies.

Business Analyst and Reporting

  • Adhoc and routine weekly reports with analytics

  • Purchase and EDI transaction reporting

  • Sub table override recaps to assess formulary

  • Weekly McKesson distribution center non-stock and non-contract item reporting

  • Returns credit assessment reporting

  • Rebate and bill-back support data from other suppliers

  • Customer Care call center data reporting

  • Supplylogix reporting

Minimum Requirements

5 years sales administration experience and demonstrated leadership skills

Critical Skills

  • Working knowledge of McKesson or pharmaceutical industry required.

  • Four-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years sales administration or support experience and demonstrated leadership skills

  • Thorough knowledge of sales programs and functions, policies, practices and systems, and demonstrates leadership skills

  • 5 years experience in management, sales, support, operations or administration.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, project management, analytic skills and business acumen.

  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and general SAP skills.
