Position Description

Responsible for Patch Management and Vulnerability Remediation of RelayHealth servers. Manages Lifecycle Management of products used within our application infrastructure. Monitors product application for performance and health and responds to product application support issues. Analyzes and troubleshoots problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action.

The position of Systems Application Administrator provides support for RelayHealth products operating in multiple client/server environments such as Windows Server, UNIX/Linux, primarily Microsoft SQL and Oracle database systems. Solutions are highly complex and considered mission-critical in the healthcare industry.

Required demonstrable experience in all areas in previous work history:

  • Manage and maintain Patch Management process.

  • Research and resolve detected vulnerabilities and automateremediation where possible.

  • Work with resources on other teams as appropriate.

  • Manage lifecycle of infrastructure and software.

  • Master corporate best practices and supported methodologies forall job functions.

  • Troubleshooting processes methodically and logically to fullyresolve issues.

  • Create custom application monitors and configure monitoringsolutions.

  • Contribute to the knowledge base by adding and supplementingentries.

  • Report on individual performance metrics or success factors asrequested.

Minimum Requirements

4 years experience in network systems administration

Critical Skills

  • Understanding of Windows Server System architecture

  • Working knowledge of Patch Management

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate time management skills

  • Flexible schedule to allow for after business hours work

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus

  • PowerShell experience is highly desired (or equivalent/otherprogramming language)

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
