The Strategic Account Management group is a critical part of the Biologics team focusing on larger scale client relationships that encompass almost all of Biologics’ business units. The core purpose of this team is to mitigate potential service errors and reduce the business risk of complex accounts through greater management oversight. The Strategic Account Management Analyst’s objectives are to ensure clarity in client communications, continually search for improvement to existing programs, design and implement new ideas, and help support the larger Strategic Account Management team. It requires a naturally inquisitive individual that encompasses the willingness to challenge the status quo in search for process improvement. They are accountable for ensuring service excellence as outlined in the client’s service agreement. In this highly visible position, the analyst will be empowered to launch and manage strategically critical client programs that cross multiple business lines while driving continuous improvement in processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive collaboration across all Biologics Program Operations Team, which includes representatives from Quality, Pharmacy Services, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Business Development, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting and Business Intelligence.
Ensure that program design meets regulatory guidelines as well as Biologics internal standards and controls
Track and report actual versus planned performance (operational and financial) and escalate deviations with proposed solutions to the appropriate members of the leadership team
Confirm that all program documentation is consistent, complete, and correct
Anticipate problems and develop action plans to resolve problems, escalate issues, and/or prevent anticipated future problems
Assist the Strategic Account Management team in leading client Quarterly Business Reviews for each program highlighting pertinent information to keep client apprised of all key operating metrics
Entry-level experience in project management
Ability to motivate teams to resolve complex problems and conflicts
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical or statistical background and understanding of finance or operational metrics
Additional knowledge and skills
Preferred exposure to, or certification in, Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies
Preferred exposure to, or certification in, project management and resource forecasting
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated strategic thinking skills in a business environment
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Some knowledge of project management.
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
