Current Need: shift between the hours of 7:00AM and 9:00pm, Monday-Friday, flexibility to do Saturday shifts as well, 8:00AM- 4:00PM and at times, some Saturdays and Sundays work remotely on call.

Position Description

Responsible for investigating and resolving software and hardware problems of computer users by performing the following duties:

  • Provides issue resolution and training for McKesson's Web and Mobile Solutions

  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, and e-mail requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies

  • Interviews user to collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error

  • Determines whether problem is caused by hardware, software or network

  • Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems and works with Subject Matter Experts on higher level technical issues

  • Logs and tracks calls using SAP Customer Relationship Management System, and maintains history records and related problem documentation

  • Consults with programmers and business analysts to explain application errors and gather data for reporting application issues

  • Writes or revises Knowledgebase entries based on accuracy of data

  • Trains users on Web and Mobile Solutions supported by the department

Minimum Requirements

1 years experience in troubleshooting PCs

Critical Skills

Pharmacy Tech/Pharmacy Assistant strongly preferred.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Explorer, Java, and Firefox Internet software; Microsoft 7.0, Mobile 5 and XP, Third-party Pharmacy and POS Systems, Order processing systems; Excel Spreadsheet software, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio Outlook and Word.

Education

Required -

High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent
