Current Need

McKesson is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX

Position Description

The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for compensation plan administration and analytics for our Field Sales organization. Key responsibilities will include:

Incentive Payment Administration

  • Ensure commissions and bonus calculations are done accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Review sales commission requests submitted by the Field Sales team within Salesforce.com.

  • Update our incentive compensation management system database with employee information and compensation plan information.

  • Provide excellent customer service to Field Sales team by addressing questions promptly regarding commissions.

Incentive Payment Analytics

  • Reconcile sales compensation payments.

  • Analysis and ad hoc query of sales compensation targets and achievement.

  • Prepare incentive expense reports for Finance

  • Prepare quarterly Executive Summary for ORC

  • Perform cost analysis or modeling of alternative incentive plan designs

Incentive Application Support

  • Develop test scripts for new plan year and/or new system enhancements

  • Perform testing to ensure new plan and/or system enhancements are producing desired results

Minimum Requirements

5 years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills

  • 3-5 years sales compensation analyst experience

  • Must have experience in incentive comp management systems

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills

  • Clear and concise communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers

  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Successful candidate will have strong drive to continue learning and growing professionally; will be enthusiastic and self-motivated

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Customer service experience and skills

  • Salesforce.com experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment including strong time management skills and ability to prioritize

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
