Current Need

We are looking for a Conferencing and Collaboration Technician to support our Web Conferencing, Audio Conferencing and Video Conferencing services along with supporting Collaboration tools.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and customers.

Your goal will be to ensure that our conferencing services run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Web conferencing maintenance and support

  • Video conferencing maintenance, support and deployments

  • Digital signage support

  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

  • Troubleshoot issues and outages

  • Ensure security through access controls

  • Upgrade systems and hardware

  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

  • Maintain room scheduling systems

  • Documenting processes and procedures

Minimum Requirements

Entry level experience in Windows, Mainframe or UNIX systems administration

Critical Skills

  • Proven experience as a computer Administrator

  • Experience with both Cisco WebEx web conferencing and Telepresence Video products

  • Knowledge of room scheduling systems

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Basic knowledge of Windows, Mainframe, UNIX or other specialized systems administration -Basic knowledge of the definition, design, & implementation of network communications & solutions

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
