Position Description

Monitor RNA/MHS/ ISMC Agreement compliance and communicate process enhancements to increase profitability and/or reduce risk.

Liaison between contract compliance department and finance, operations and sales. Consults with the sales team and appropriate business unit personnel regarding customer contract compliance metrics and issues. Educate management and sales representatives on agreement language so appropriate action can be taken when analysis uncovers deviations from customer contractual commitments. Manage confidential and proprietary information through the review of customer proposals and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Agreement Reviews

  • Read supply agreements and determine McKesson’s compliance for the financial aspects of the agreement. (e.g. pricing, sales volume, margin, generic purchases, product categories, rebates)

  • Summarize customer’s compliance across active contracts as well as details of specific customer non-compliance.

  • Identify areas of the contract where language may be vague or unclear, make recommendations and draft language appropriately.

Customer Audits of McKesson

  • Work with external auditors to determine to determine the nature of claims submitted.

  • Analyze claims to determine reasonableness, validity and accuracy.

  • Manage workflow for claims process to ensure timely closure.

  • Present findings/recommendations effectively to operations and sales executives.

Contract Analysis, Customer-on-boarding, Rebate reviews, Pricing discrepancy resolution, and Quarterly and Yearly Business Reviews

  • Determine non-compliant business practices and define potential solutions to be discussed with various functions and sales account executives and managers.

  • Define and create business requirements and functional documentation for internal technical groups (e.g. ELA and ESS) to ensure new requirements can be monitored through system generated reports

  • Present findings/recommendations coherently to operation and sales executives

  • Extract master data and transactional data from SAP, BW and master file. Sort, analyze and identify anomalies and trends

Minimum Requirements

Entry level experience in proposal analysis

Critical Skills

  • 2 years in accounting and or finance (i.e. financial analysis & financial reporting)

  • 2 years of data mining experience to include: extracting information from multiple sources, working with large amounts of data in Excel and Access, looking for trends and patterns, able to identify root cause analysis, and being able to work with others on a solution

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel (v-look ups, pivots, macros, charts, & graphs) and MS Access (create databases, bring in tables, query data, & reporting)

  • Strong business writing and presentation skills with PowerPoint; presenting to an audience of up to 5 people to include Sr. Leadership on a monthly basis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • MBA preferred

  • IDEA preferred

  • SAP experience is a plus

  • Pharmaceutical and or Healthcare industry experience is desirable

  • Proven ability to work within a fast paced and ever changing dynamic environment

Education

4-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
