Current Need

Under the general direction of the Consumer Products Group (CPG) senior leaders, McKesson seeks a CPG Coordinator to assist in delivering industry-leading results. CPG’s direction to guide the future of customer segments builds through total management ownership of the portfolio. This position will aid in creating the framework for the future of CPG across all of McKesson’s non-RX programs. Strategic thinking, teamwork, and strong system knowledge are paramount to successful candidacy.

Position Description

This position will spend twenty-five percent of the time supporting the VP/Category Management and the CPG Director with the day to day needs such as meeting requests and travel needs. The other seventy-five percent of the time will be supporting the ISMC Segment Leaders with the products and programs managed by the Consumer Products Group while providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Assists Segment Leader with category management which includes item maintenance, loads, pricing, supplier promotions, and supplier relations.

  • Interfaces with internal stakeholders to create process synergies and efficiencies which will ultimately create a more enjoyable experience for our customers.

  • Supports the entire CPG team with the individual marketing platforms offered to the suppliers.

  • Supports segment team culture of constant innovation, freshness, and improvement: embrace, develop, and drive new items and thinking including enchantments to process, communication, tools, systems, items, and programs.

  • Effectively communicate cross-functionally, especially with sales, marketing, finance, data, and replenishment team members, in order to drive results.

  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships to effectively address escalated issues related to McKesson and customer replenishment issue in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

8 years advanced administrative support experience

Critical Skills

  • Microsoft Office including Outlook (expert), Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Education

HS Diploma, Vocational Training or Equivalent. An AA degree is preferred.
