The purpose of this position is responsibility for project management services within Industrial
Asset Type to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Key project delivery focus areas include team and people management along with scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management for your portfolio of projects.
Directs all phases of project management including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closeout phases of the project. Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.
Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability and peer reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Manage Project Management resource assignment and workload for your dedicated and variable team.
Lead the strategic development of a comprehensive and cross-functional Project Delivery strategy aligned with business objectives.
Interact regularly with all service lines in addition to internal and external partners to ensure success for both the project and the team.
Develop clear objectives, deliverables and timelines as required to achieve the project objectives. Help the team understand their accountability and timely escalate out-of-tolerance conditions.
Formally and informally supervises individual employees and/or subordinate supervisors. Responsible for identifying tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating direct/indirect reports and work group.
Leverage partner platforms to secure and enhance our value proposition. Innovation is critical to success.
Continuously seek an understanding of McKesson’s internal departments, organizational goals and strategic priorities (i.e. Sustainability, Workplace, Employee Wellness) and appropriately align the project delivery strategy.
Exhibits a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures.
Monitors adherence to policies and procedures regarding internal governance and controls.
Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within work group.
Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports.
Participates in industry organizations. Conducts and maintains relationships with industry and trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise for your assigned asset type. Seek training and industry associations as required to maintain a state-of-the-art understanding.

8 years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions. Significant experience in project management.
8 years working in design, construction of large scale industrial/distribution facilities
8 years managing progressively larger, complex projects and teams
8 years Project Management
Experience in understanding working documents (i.e. drawings, leases, specs, contracts, funding requests, etc.) for real estate project management and transaction management
Experience working within a highly matrixed organization
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Leverage partner platforms to secure and enhance our value proposition
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
Experienced with leading, promoting and working in collaborative and geographically distributed teams
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) or equivalent experience
LEED AP preferred
PMP preferred (US and/or Canada)
