Current Need

Payroll Support Center Representative

Position Description

The Payroll Support Center Representative will respond to telephonic and/or electronic second-tier Payroll support center inquiries from McKesson employees and managers, former employees, and outside agencies. Representative will provide either direct resolution or routes the inquiry to the appropriate Operations and/or Shared Service department to address accordingly. Reports to Payroll Support Center Director and will be preferred to be onsite in the Las Colinas office.

  • Respond to all second tier Payroll inquiries received from HR Support Center

  • Investigate and resolve Payroll issues received through the HR Support Center, using critical analysis and problem solving applying relevant laws, policies, and best practice to reach conclusions and resolve the issue before escalating or routing to another department

  • Provide high level customer service by ensuring employee questions and issues are fully addressed and each assigned case is fully resolved

  • Deal with sensitive or personal information in a confidential and professional manner

  • Ensure all required documentation is entered and maintained within the case management system (SalesForce)

  • Determine appropriate department, resource, or team lead to route inquiries that cannot be resolved by the Payroll Support Center alone

  • Partner with HR Support Center to provide updated responses to general routine inquiries and requests for first tier support

Minimum Requirements

2 years payroll or accounting experience
