Current Need

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Contract Administration organization by providing data analysis and visualizations to help drive business decisions. You will proactively analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources and provide the business with detailed reporting and insights regarding trends and opportunities for operational improvement. This position will streamline as well as build new relationships with internal business partners. It requires leveraging financial, business, and system expertise to the fullest.

Position Description

Primary areas of responsibility will be focused on working with operational business partners to understand process areas and help develop metrics and visualizations for core operations. Actively assist with ad-hoc reporting in support of supplier negotiations regarding contracts and chargebacks. Providing analytics related to contract utilization, chargeback denials, and supplier responsiveness

Minimum Requirements

5 years contract administration experience

Critical Skills

  • Must have significant data mining, analysis, and reporting experience

  • Working and development knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS and QlikView

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise database tools and ecosystems, such as Netezza, Business Objects, SQL Server or other SQL databases

  • Strong experience using data to interpret and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership

  • Utilize strong analytical and innovative skill sets to maximize relationships with business partners.

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Experience extracting and analyzing large data sets

  • Proficient in use of MS Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, Access

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Prior JD Edwards, SAP, Vistex experience

  • Preferred prior experience Process Improvement

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines

  • Proven experience solving complex business issues through data-related tools

  • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous and changing environments

  • Understand landscape of available data/sources


4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
