Position Description

The Account Services Rep is responsible for achieving annual goals by managing a book of small segment customers in a designated territory. The Account Services Rep will resolve customer issues, respond to pricing requests, and maintain accounts in both the ONC and MSPL segments.

Key Responsibilities 100%

  1. Successfully manage an assigned list of customers within a designated territory (30%)

  2. Maintains a profitable book of business by working proactively with other functional areas of MSH - Credit/Collections, Master Data, Customer Care, and Onmark Member Services teams (30%)

  3. Handle incoming customer requests and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly (30%)

  4. Develop a knowledge base of the marketplace, environment, customer dynamics and concerns (5%)

  5. Participation in training and educational key learning initiatives (5%)

Minimum Requirements

2 years customer service experience

Critical Skills

  • 1 year sales and/or account management experience preferred

  • Experience in and demonstrated understanding of healthcare and distribution, GPO, community oncology, industry trends, EHRs, inventory management technologies, billing and coding, private and public reimbursement models and payer contracting highly desired

  • Experience with pharmaceutical products and buy-and-bill model (reimbursement model)

  • Competency 1: Customer Focus.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships at all organizational levels

  • Ability to navigate a matrix organizational structure

  • Healthcare experience a plus

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures, PC, and excellent communication and telephone skills

  • Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel

  • Salesforce.com or CRM software experience helpful

  • Motivation to excel and achieve sales results

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills

Education

4-year degree preferred with an emphasis in sales and marketing, business management, or healthcare related field or equivalent experience in a sales position
