Current Need

McKesson's Pharmacy Technology and Services (MPTS) has an opening in our Livonia office for a Lead Generation associate that will support our Chain, Outpatient, Health system and ISMC markets.

Location: Livonia, MI (office based)

Travel: 10% less than

Position Description

  • Provides leads to senior sales associates on both low & high complexity add on products and/or services via telephone.

  • Focuses on new business and existing customer base add on sales and may generate prospective customers through cold calling into the Chain, Outpatient, Health system and ISMC market

  • Qualifies sales leads. Establishes relationships with net new customers, while working with internal account managers, outside sales and inside sales professionals.

  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.

  • Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Has thorough knowledge of company products/services.

Minimum Requirements

Entry level sales experience

Critical Skills

  • Excellentcommunication skills

  • Ability to work ina team environment and build effective relationships with customers

AdditionalKnowledge & Skills

  • 1years pharmacy technology experience

  • Bachelors Degree is highlypreferred

  • Healthcare or Pharmacysales experience is highly preferred

  • Effective PC skillsincluding Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of salesterritory management is a plus

  • Salesforce.comexperience is a plus

  • Experience sellingbusiness solutions via the telephone is highly preferred

    Education

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
