Senior Manager - Customer Intelligence

Position located in Louisville, KY or Remote based opportunity

Position Description

The Customer Insight & Analytics (CIA) organization plays a critical role in defining the business targeting strategy, customer journey and forecasting model that drives growth and increases the utilization of McKesson’s manufacturer-facing drug commercialization services. We deliver differentiated experiences that accelerate and deepen strategic relationships with our customers. Senior Manager, Customer Insights

As Senior Manager, you will be in a strategic and operational leadership position responsible for building and delivering an effective business intelligence, performance management, advanced analytics and insights service. You will lead a high performing team and create a cohesive environment that attracts and retains key talent. You will need to be comfortable engaging with senior leaders and managing priorities in a fast-paced, complex matrix environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy that will incorporate sales data, program data, and the drug/sales pipeline to support the business needs of the MSO organization.

  • Business insights platform – partner with internal stakeholders and technology assets such as Tableau to define and develop world class business analytics infrastructure that will support existing reporting and analysis requirements. Shape the future state insights architecture and create the roadmap to help accelerate usage to drive improved business analytics.

  • Business insights governance – partner across a complex set of stakeholders to prioritize business requirements and scope investments and resources required to deliver results.

  • Analytics - drive adhoc analytics, what - if analysis, customer specific inquiries, business modeling, corporate performance management, advanced analytics & applications for modeling, forecasting & optimization

  • People Leadership - lead a team of 4 FTE, coaching and developing the talent of the team.

  • Responsible for database administration in support of BI Reporting, Tableau, and SFDC CRM System functionality.

  • Manage the development and on-going maintenance configuration necessary for system integration tools to ensure clean and accurate reporting and leveraging data from outside data sources in an automated way.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 years’ experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Critical Skills

  • 4 years’ experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology

  • Excellent and effective business communication skills both verbally and in writing; facilitation experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • SQL, Tableau, Salesforce.com experience strongly recommended

  • Must be open to flexible day hours, Monday through Friday; must also be open to adjusting as needed based on business requirements, as well as being available for emergencies

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.

  • Knowledge of project management principles

  • Understanding of database architecture principles

  • Ability to be self-directed and anticipate needs of the end customer with ability to translate those needs into technology solutions

  • Web development experience would be a plus

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
