Position Description

Sales support position for High Volume Solutions sales. Supports VP-Sales, RVP-Sales, NSD’s (both traditional sales and CFaaS sales) and direct interface with Director of Sales Engineering.

Primary responsibility for working with Sales Team and Director of Sales Engineering to create and develop customer facing technical sales proposals proposals, creation of contract language where appropriate and coordination, creation and documentation of RFP Responses.

Secondary responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in sales prospecting, sales funnel database creation and management. Heavy interaction with the MPTS Marketing department and development of HVS sales and market collateral, website content, and other soft and hard copy materials. Maintains and updates current boilerplate document library. Manages appointments and schedules for trade and sales conferences. Processes contract files to ensure MPS&A Order-Entry guidelines are met. Develops knowledge about traditional and CFaaS solutions. Coordinates with other McKesson teams and Business Units as appropriate. Conducts and analyzes research and compiles critical information in order to develop responses to customer requirements that conform to the content and format specified by customer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistingand developing customer facing technical sales proposals in collaboration withthe sales team, subject matter experts and sales engineering. Creation ofproposal customer facing content in collaboration with sales team. Establishand evolve formal QA processes, adopting industry-accepted best practices.

  • ManagingRFP’s including gathering of SME responses and response writing whereappropriate. Maintenance of RFP response database. Develop and execute testcases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).

  • Coordinationof contracts including accumulation of content by SME’s and contract languagecreation where appropriate. Maintenance of contract library and response modules.

  • Assistssales executives in sales prospecting, sales funnel database creation andmanagement.

  • Direct liaison and collaborator tothe MPTS Marketing department. Assisting with the development of HVS sales andmarket collateral, website content, and other soft and hard copy materials.Maintains and updates current boilerplate document library.

  • Manages appointments and schedulesfor trade and sales conferences

  • Appropriately gathers market andcompetitive intelligence and shares internally where appropriate.

MinimumRequirements

2 - 5 yrs relevant experience

CriticalSkills

  • Priorexperience in healthcare

  • Demonstratedexperience with collaborative teams and collaborative sales.

  • Priorexperience in technical writing.

  • Excellentoral and written communication skills.

  • Abilityto understand and grasp technical content and processes.

  • Experiencewith cold calling to generate new business.

  • Abilityto collaborate with different team members, vendors, and clients.

  • Articulate,analytical, discerning.

  • Abilityto successfully work remotely and independently.

  • Abilityto understand and articulate thorough knowledge of assigned product(s), companyfunctions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures.

  • Aboveaverage ability to utilize Office 365 and SalesForce.com or similar tools.

AdditionalKnowledge & Skills

  • Priorknowledge or experience in a Pharmacy environment highly preferred

  • Workingknowledge with HVS Systems (either for a client or internal to HVS) highlypreferred.

  • Salestraining development preferred.

Education

Professional degree in area of expertise. Advanced degree may be preferred in some assignments
