Current Need

High Volume Solutions (HVS) Customer Experience department is looking for an experienced project manager with a joint role of account executive.

Position Description

  • Responsible for all aspects of the customer experience projects and programs involving customers or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.

  • Provides a single point of contact for projects.

  • Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments (e.g. marketing, computer services etc.).

  • Initiates the project Charter and strategic project alignment to business objectives, including analysis and negotiation for cross-projects integration.

  • Manages all aspects of the business relationships with customers with multiple HVS sites. Acts as the internal and external customer liaison. Act as an escalation point for these customers as needed. Model high customer service qualities. Identifies new opportunities to better support and/or drive recurring revenue growth.

  • Defines project scope and objectives.

  • Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources.

  • Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.

  • Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables.

  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

  • May provide project management guidance to project team.

  • Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

  • Contributes to process and procedural improvement based on performance analysis, lessons learned, project archives etc.

Minimum Requirements

5 years’ experience in project management.

Critical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of PM methodology, tools and techniques with ability to manage complex tasks and multiple projects.

  • Prior experience working with external customer/client facing projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal/client relationship building, customer service, and negotiating skills, including ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.

  • Ability to apply business acumen with strong tactical planning to strategic objectives.

  • Experienced and proficient with Visio, SharePoint, and MS Project.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Pharmacy automation or pharmacy experience, highly preferred.

  • Advanced leadership and general management skills, preferred

  • PMP Certification preferred, but not required. Selected candidate must complete PMP Certification within first two years of employment.


4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience


Up to 25% travel

Remote may be an option for candidates with pharmacy automation experience.
