Current Need:

We have the following shifts available Monday through Friday:

9:00am to 5:30pm

9:30am to 6:00pm

10:00am to 6:30pm

10:30am to 7:00pm

11:00am to 7:30pm

Every new employee is guaranteed $500.00 commission each month for the first six months in addition to all other commission and hourly earnings!

The Inside Sales position offers uncapped commission in addition to the hourly base pay of $12hr.

The newly revised commission structure makes it possible for each new sales associate to begin earning commission on his or her first sale! Other highlights from our new plan include additional earning potential for reactivating former customers, ground ship orders and new accounts. Position Description

McKesson Inside Sales associates sell the company's low and high complexity pharmaceutical products and/or services via telephone. He or she will generate prospective customers through cold calling and closing sales generated by cold calling while creating and maintaining customer relationships with professional, friendly communication. Effectively sells to customers based on company sales goals and individual performance metrics. Provides call resolution to customers by communicating requested information and alternate solutions when possible. Delivers assistance to customers through the on line order process while ensuring accuracy at all times. Develops cross-selling and up-selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively reach the key decision-maker to pitch and sell products from our catalog that include generic and brand pharmaceuticals, diabetic supplies, and over-the-counter products. New hires are expected to make a minimum of 70 outbound phone calls with quality talk time during those calls.

  • Using our call center software, troubleshoot customer needs and requests, respond to email and/or web requests and document progress in our web-based sales platform.

  • Interact with our sales management team to provide real-time market intelligence including shortages, outages, and pricing challenges.

  • Provide customer follow through by phone or email as necessary.

  • Perform other sales functions and work related tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Entry level sales experience

Critical Skills

  • 1 years of call center experience preferred

  • Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to work independently while part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer proficiency in Windows, Office/Word, Outlook/Email and web-based sales traffic.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of cold-calling in a call center preferred

  • Former pharmacy technician experience helpful


4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
