Current Need

The web developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our three company websites.

Position Description

Maintains internal/external company web site content. Work may include reformatting text, assuring hyperlink integrity, file transfer, and translation and posting of new material to the page involving HTML scripting. Compiles, analyzes and reports statistics regarding 'hits' to the website. Assists in maintaining security processes and procedures. May answer questions from site visitors or redirect messages to appropriate person (s). May conduct online technology research. May also heavily interact with other departments in the maintenance of their web-page material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain company websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, & jQuery.

  • Build and develop tools that increase company and customer user experiences

  • Collaborate with design and executive team to find best-practice solutions.

  • Identify tools and competitor activities in the market.

  • Continuing education to stay up-to-date on market trends.

Minimum Requirements

2 years experience in web site administration

Critical Skills

  • 4 years of relatable front-end development experience

  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

  • 1 experience building Wordpress site

  • Experience in setting up email campaigns with Mailchimp, Constant Contact or similar web service.

  • Experience of PHP back-end development and databases (Build forms and store information from the website)

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator; must work well within a team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and develop new ideas.

  • Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills

  • Keen ability to multi-task; self-starter
