We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Moon Township, PA.
Primarily responsible for all billing system configuration and data integrity including but not limited to price tables and system validations.
Collaborate with key business leaders to provide and perform data analytics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
Work in partnership with other areas of the business (i.e., Contracting) to ensure timely receipt and processing of payer information such as fee schedules and other payer-specific requirements that will require system updates, configuration or alterations to ensure compliance.
Cooperates with business leaders, end users, and other key stakeholders throughout MPCS to assist in the management and maintenance of the billing platform operating system, including all system settings and configuration, pricing, payers, core functionality, etc.
Development of process and process mapping and requirement documentation creation
Responsible for data governance, as well as updating and maintaining data to ensure highest level of quality
Contribution on performance improvement projects and initiatives
Manages, maintains, and executes business rules that drive system behavior and assists the business in optimizing rules-enabled workflows within the billing operating system.
Provides and consults with leaders on data analytics to enable and drive business efficiency and effectiveness including identifying reporting requirements, data needs and analysis.
Works with various levels of the business on process improvement projects and initiatives.
Governs pricing efforts within the billing operating system – inducing building, maintaining, and updating price tables to optimize system pricing and reimbursement while minimizing adjustments.
Supports managing system configuration including WIP states within the billing operating system.
Assists in the management of security settings for user groups and site settings within the billing operating system.
Assist training team with the development of system related training and/ or training material.
Participate in or facilitate testing as needed.
Maintain data quality and establishment of data validation processes and procedures.
Support Policy and Procedure management and governance.
4 years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.
3 years’ experience in application configuration management
3 years’ experience with data management
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including but not limited to facilitating meetings both in person and virtual settings as well as strong presentation skills
Familiarity with Brightree System features and functionality preferred
Ability to effectively produce requirements documents and functional documents
Competent in integration planning, dependency management and business process mapping and process modeling
Encompass project management skills including time management, organization and prioritization
DME or related healthcare experience preferred
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
