McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a high performer to join our EnterpriseRx Software Quality Assurance team. MPS offers an array of integrated pharmacy software solutions for the health care industry. Position Description

The Software QA Analyst will apply his or her breadth of knowledge and experience in the software testing domain to raise the bar at MPS with respect to ensuring the quality of a complex, enterprise class pharmacy solution. As a contributor within the EnterpriseRx research and development (R&D) team, you will a work in a collaborative and highly skilled Agile team.

Job Duties:

  • Utilize proven softwarequality assurance methodologies and techniques to ensure the highest qualitysoftware that will delight customers

  • Actively participate inthe development and review of User Stories

  • Improve the craft ofsoftware quality assurance at MPS by appropriately challenging the status quo

  • Develop scripted manual teststo deterministically assure that the software system is performing as specifiedby the requirements

  • Be flexible and adaptable aswe grow and develop as a software engineering organization

  • Conduct ad hoc testing byadopting the persona of one of our customers and interacting with the systemfrom various perspectives

  • Be responsible for assuringthe quality of major new components

  • Collaborate cross functionallywith software engineers, business analysts, product managers, implementationspecialists, and project managers to become the best performing team possible

  • Provideguidance by identifying and articulating problems, then finding solutions anddriving them to conclusion

  • Understandthe retail pharmacy domain and learn how customers use McKesson products tomanage their business

  • Demonstrate complex topics toa diverse audience, including business leaders and customers in sprint reviews.


2 years experience in software and/or program testing.


  • Experience assuring thequality of large scale enterprise level systems

  • Test case development andmanagement using tools such as Quality Center

  • Agile planning and defectmanagement and remediation using tools such as JIRA

  • Proven ability to driveactivities to closure while pursuing excellence

AdditionalKnowledge & Skills

  • Experience in an agilesoftware development lifecycle.

  • Pharmacy experience

4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
