Drug Replacement Coordinator
McKesson Pharmacy Optimization is seeking a drug replacement coordinator.
In this position, you will:
Be self-managed and prioritize your work to meet the revenue goals of the program
Work with professional medical personnel on a daily basis
Contact patients to determine if they are eligible for a variety of patient assistance programs and guide them through the enrollment process
Coordinate between the patient, health care professionals, and drug manufacturers to obtain the information necessary to complete the patient’s enrollment
Monitor the shipment status of drugs for enrolled patients, from approval through receipt of the drug at the hospital pharmacy
Maintain PHI and HIPAA compliance
1 years customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, etc.
Independent worker, can set own timelines/deadlines and goals
Strong communication skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Healthcare or drug manufacturer experience is preferred, or previous experience enrolling people into assistance programs (such as Medicaid, disability, etc)
Strong business background, including client or account management experience, is also preferred
Familiarity with hospital computer systems (such as Invision, Epic, EDM, or HPF) a plus
Self-initiative, including excellent relationship-building, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
HS Diploma or Equivalent
