Position: Administrator (12-Month Contract)


The postholder will be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of both offices and associated activity to support the NorthStar and McKesson business units.



  • Support the SeniorAdministrator in providing administrative support to the General Managerand three NH directors.

  • Assist in organisingtravel arrangements for NH team to India, China, US and Europe in linewith company travel policy i.e. flights, hotels, car transfers.

  • Co-ordinate travel vaccinationsconsults with external provider, complete insurance claims, issue medicalkits, arrange data usage on mobile phones prior to travel.

  • Prepare travelitineraries and register trips with McKesson Travel Security and Safetyprovider, iJet Worldcue.

  • Apply for foreign visasfor travel for the NH team and monitor renewal of visas.

  • Order and maintainstationery for NH team.

  • File and archive NHdocumentation as required.

  • Renewal ofsubscriptions/membership for NH team.

  • Arrange Fedexcollections for all NH & McKesson courier items.

  • Assist in thepreparation of presentations and documentation.

  • Participate in team projectswhere deemed necessary

  • Organize meetings,functions and ad hoc events both internally and externally in a professionaland cost effective manner.

  • Liaise with the SharedServices for invoice processing (travel, catering, hotels, taxis).

  • Interact with variousMcKesson Corporate personnel, including senior management, on work relatedissues.

  • Create/update (wordformatting) redline quality policies and SOPs as required.

  • Scan validationdocumentation.

  • Support and demonstrateMcKesson shared values and principles – ICARE and ILEAD.


  • Cover Reception dutiesfor the McKesson Senior Administrator.

  • Support the McKesson Senior Administrator and provideadministrative support to the General Manager and Senior Leadership Teamof McKesson.

  • Assist in organisingtravel arrangements for McKesson team to US, UK and Europe in line withcompany travel policy i.e. flights, hotels, car transfers.

  • Order and maintainstationery for McKesson Team.

  • Support for the PMO Teamand HR Team admin teams as and when required

Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent education coupled with a recognised secretarial/administration qualifications


5 years experience in a similar role within a multinational organisation

Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word essential

Experience in a pharmaceutical organisation is desirable, with exposure to operating in a regulated environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent secretarial, administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work activities
