Current Need

Reimbursement Program Advisor

Position Description

The position responsibilities consist of completing outbound calls to current McKesson Reimbursement Advantage customers to provide an understandable picture of each member’s benefits realized and opportunities missed through the McKesson Reimbursement Advantage program. In addition, this role will be responsible for answering inbound calls from existing McKesson Reimbursement Advantage customers; as well as providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries and efficient resolution to and documentation of issues and activity. This position requires excellent communication, customer service and follow-up skills.

Minimum Requirements

2 years telemarketing experience.

Critical Skills

  • 1 years of client focused Sales/Account Management experience (excellent relationship building/maintenance skills)

  • Effectively communicate product, price and procedure information to customers and field sales representatives

  • Strong analytical and business skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel)

  • Experience working within an autonomous environment/role (good problem-solving and decision-making skills; self-motivated and results-orientated that requires little direction)

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Pharmacy operation (claims adjudication) and/or managed care experience/knowledge preferred

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry products, trends, and processes

  • Ability to manage timelines and goals


4 year degree or equivalent experience.
