McKesson Canada’s largest and newest Distribution Center is located in the heart of Quinte West, situated on the shores of the beautiful Bay of Quinte. The Trenton Distribution Center is conveniently located directly along the Highway 401 corridor approximately 30 minutes east of Cobourg, 1 hour east of Oshawa and 1 hour west of Kingston.

Job Summary

As directed by the Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customer and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures. This is a temporary contract with an estimated end date of September 2nd 2018.

Section A – Specific Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for accurate unit pick and case pick by Manual RF picking and/or Goods to Person picking

Perform A-Frame automation system product replenishment

Responsible for Goods In procedure to ensure accurate inventory levels

Perform order audits for quality assurance

Ensure product orders are reviewed and error corrections are completed

Perform all tasks within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to the job function

Perform any housekeeping duties as required

Other duties as directed by the Supervisor(s)

Section B – Main Responsibilitie

Ensure that company policies and procedures are respected

Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvements

Ensure that work areas are kept safe, organized and clean

Follow company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety policies

Operate power lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner

Section C – Key Requirements

High school diploma or GED is an asset

Clear CPIC (Canadian Police Information Center) check

Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds independently and great weights in a team-lift environment

Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time

Experience in a distribution center/warehouse/manufacturing environment is an asset

Basic math and reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment

Strong focus of Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction

Ability to challenge processes and seek out process improvements or creative ways of safely and accurately completing tasks

Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computers and automation

Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30 day period on forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment

Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
