Reporting to Sr. Manager of Store Development, the Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for project coordination, supporting all administrative functions of the Store Development department as required. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of schedules and activities, updating of project queue, survey consolidation, placing orders for supplies and services and tracking progress and results. The Coordinator is responsible for processing of all invoices through SAP related to store projects. Working closely with Finance to track, monitor and processes invoices by location to ensure department expenditures are in line and on budget
Creating and maintaining Project Manager calendar and queue to manage flow of projects from beginning to end
Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
Develops project strategies and communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and Constructive attitude
Prepare project organization and communication charts required for presentations
Monitor survey results from members and consolidate on a quarterly basis for analysis
Keep the Project Manager and others informed of project status and any issues that may impact client relations
Responsible for monitoring, tracking and filing of all project documents including processing of invoices by location
Processing of invoices to Finance via SAP, and providing detail to Finance for month end to ensure department is on budget
Work with vendors to follow up with rebates and inventory requirements
Ensure internal and external client needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
Perform other duties as assigned to support McKesson Canada.
Context and Environment:
- Must be able to perform in a fast paced environment, where abilities to manage multiple projects while working on a number of different assignments at the same time and meeting deadlines are essential.Ability to work with competing demands and effectively manage priorities. Ability to deliver results under minimal supervision in line with existing policies and best practices. Need is to focus on supporting Project Manager role by monitoring and tracking of various projects and collaborating with cross functional groups in order to achieve desired results.
2-3 years College/University in a relevant discipline
3-5 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects.
Strong project management, analytical and decision making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office, Word/Excel, Power point, SAP experience would be beneficial
Highly organized with the ability to multi task and produce quality work.
Strong effective communication skills both written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to work well with both internal and external customers
Able to work both independently and in a team based environment
