Current Need

Product Support Representative

Position Description

McKesson Technology’s Technology Administration team is looking for highly motivated individuals with a great work ethic and a passion for being at the forefront of healthcare technology. This job entails configuring and shipping electronic scanning devices which are used for our proprietary technology product offerings, as well as various administrative tasks as described below.

Our proprietary technology product offerings include:

  • ScanManager barcode ordering system

  • ORBITS suite of inventory and charge management products, including barcode scanning technologies

  • Various other company products currently in the environment or yet to come.

Key Responsibilities for first 4-6 months:

  • Configuring of electronic scanning devices for deployment to sales and customers

  • Creating and sending return labels for UPS pickups

  • Testing/troubleshooting of returned electronic scanning devices

Key Responsibilities after initial 4-6 months:

  • Completion of Install/Training ‘kits’ for Implementation team for 4 different types of software systems (includes billing setup and shipping of all kits)

  • Configuring of electronic scanning devices for deployment to sales and customers (includes both new devices and replacements for defective devices)

  • Creating and sending return labels for UPS pickups

  • Monitoring the department email box and handling all requests and inquiries

  • Testing/troubleshooting of returned electronic scanning devices

  • Printing, sorting and mailing of all daily label print requests

  • Monthly invoice creation for all systems-related charges

  • Issuing credits for invoices for systems-related charges

  • Receiving and unpacking of orders of new scanning equipment

This position is specific to our Plymouth, MN location only.

We are looking for individuals with knowledge and proficiency in the following areas:

Customer Service included instruction of users and coordination of resources needed to support/resolve

Active Listening and Comprehension – Hearing and understanding the true issues behind the customer interaction.

Critical Thinking and Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Computer Technology – Better then general knowledge of Word and excel related suites. (documents, spreadsheet manipulation) Web navigation as well as browser troubleshooting. A and/or related certifications are useful but not required.

Education

BS degree or equivalent experience.
