Job Summary

Leads the development of the retail sales market, by ensuring customers are provided quality service, by managing excellent relationships with the key influencers and by identifying and leading opportunities to increase sales volume.

The incumbent’s main customers are: Uniprix-Proxim, Clinique-Santé and new future customers. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of sales support services in the Quebec territory.

Specific Responsibilities

The tasks and responsibilities of the position mentioned in the heading include but are not limited to the following:

  • Liaises with marketing department to identify opportunities and activities to ensure the quality of service provided to each client and maximize the company's investments.

  • Manages and develops excellent business relationships with the stores-pharmacies of under assigned portfolio and is responsible to provide an exceptional quality of service and communication.

  • Manages customer problems or complaints and is responsible to track complaints and take necessary steps to resolve problems

  • Manages the appropriate services provided to clients, implements new programs, anticipates and resolves problems and identifies opportunities to reduce costs.

  • Identifies and leads opportunities to increase sales volume and profits regarding :

  • Support the launch of new molecules.

  • Develop strategies and tactics to increase the compliance rate.

  • Leverage the Sivem value and value added business solution to increase volume.

  • Monitor competitors and help support strategies to counter their efforts.

  • Work closely with generic partners to monitor any issues in the market.

General Responsibilities

  • Managers portfolio responsibility in order to meet annual sales targets and fixed profitability objectives;

  • Leads business review with customers in order to identify the opportunities to increase sales and is responsible to complete store visits in order to assess the needs of various branches and propose possible solutions to the problems identified.

  • Liaises with the banners to continuously promote the Sivem core messages and value added program

  • Attends events and activities to ensure business visibility that improves partnership with customers and increases Sivem Sales.

  • Leverages Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in place to report any customer interactions and is responsible to share that information with other business units in order to put in place a common action plan.

  • Manages and maintains close business relationships and effective communication with other company business units and customers and thus creating lasting business relationships.

  • Liaises with marketing team/customer service to identify market trends, challenges, new regulations, etc in order to adjust our approach and deploys new approaches with customers.

  • Perform other tasks related to Company sales and operations

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales position

  • Strong interpersonal skills and great capacity to adapt and build long term relationships

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion skills and customer focus

  • Knowledge of the pharmacy environment (asset)

  • Dynamism, autonomy and rigor

  • Good knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office and all its applications, etc.)

  • Available to travel more than 25% of the time

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Bilinguisme
