This role is situated at the Uniprix Head Office in Anjou.

Job summary

Under the direction of the Category Manager the Category Coordinator will participate in multiple initiatives related to promotional activities, flyer management and retail pricing. Some tasks will also be related to the editing of the long-term program.

Section A – Specific responsibilities

• Management of different types of promotion.

• Generate promotional calendars and prepare contracts.

• Manage the launch of new products;

• Ensure the management of special programs (end of island, promotional display, etc.)

• Follow up with vendors for flyer ads.

• Simulates the projection of the sales and revenues of the circular;

• Analyzes the performance of each promotion;

• Preparation and participation in the purchasing committee;

• Coordinates all activities related to the production of Uniprix Group flyers

• Validation and management the corrections made on the tests

• Update the promotion file and send it to pharmacies;

• Prepare the bonus points file linked to the Loyalty Program;

• Prepare checkout procedures and send to pharmacies;

Section B – Job requirements

  • College or university degree in administration, marketing, marketing or related field or equivalent.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing (mandatory bilingualism).

  • Ability to work in a multifunctional team.

  • In-depth knowledge of office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
