Summary of responsibilities
Reporting to the Brand Manager Uniprix, the Marketing Coordinator will support the Uniprix branding team through various projects. S/he will be responsible for planning and conducting budget monitoring for the brand team. S/he will also support team members in developing marketing strategies and implementing the brand’s communication plan. The coordinator should be energetic, very detail oriented and a multitasker with the ability to work simultaneously with various stakeholders.
Section A – Specific responsibilities
Coordinate the production of advertising materials
Compile data to analyze marketing campaigns
Ensure the implementation and coordination of purchase orders and budget
Work collaboratively with the graphic design studio
Write and send memos about various marketing projects
Place project requests with the company’s various suppliers
Ensure quality control, according to graphics standards
Make sure deadlines are met
Support the branding team through its various projects
Section B – General responsibilities
Work closely with different departments
Help the department with the coordination tasks for various meetings, including making reservations and creating PPT presentations
Communicate and negotiate with external service suppliers (marketing materials and services, promotional articles, translation, etc.)
Work with Accounting for purchase orders
Carry out administrative tasks
Section C – Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s in marketing or administration
Hold at least 2 years of experience, preferably in marketing or a related field
Be detail-oriented and creative, have good judgement and take initiative
Have an ability and desire to take on and lead new projects
Have excellent organization and coordination skills
Be autonomous and able to manage many projects at once
Hold experience in developing creative presentations
Produce work that is exact and high quality
Work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Show team spirit and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Have excellent written and spoken French; bilingualism an plus
Master Outlook, Word and Excel software
