Reporting to the Director, Professional Services, the incumbent will serve primarily as a specialized resource for the development of pharmacy programs for the Uniprix, Proxim and Clinique Santé banners. He or she will work on clinical, operational and technological aspects of targeted solutions to adequately integrate them into laboratory operations and improve the customer experience. The pharmacist will be in charge of establishing and coordinating the training offer for laboratory teams. He or she will also be responsible for advising the various head office departments and laboratory teams of all pharmacies in the network. This advisory role will pertain to the various legal and ethical issues surrounding pharmacy operations.
Plan and develop professional programs for laboratory team members of the affiliated pharmacies.
Produce or revise the material needed to implement professional programs in pharmacies (policies, procedures, training, etc.).
Establish and coordinate the training offer for laboratory team members.
Measure the performance of the programs and tools implemented in pharmacies.
Act as an expert for banner members and head office staff on issues related to pharmacy practice.
Develop, in collaboration with the marketing team, the offer for patients of our affiliated banners.
Help develop communications for network pharmacists and their teams.
Represent the banner at outreach events with members and their teams.
Perform any other related duties.
PharmD or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
Member in good standing of the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec
Keen interest in professional obligations and practice oversight
At least 3 years of community pharmacy experience
Self-starter with a sense of responsibility
Able to clearly communicate your ideas and make public presentations
Able to work alone or as part of a team
Adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Good sense of organization and planning
Comfortable communicating in French and English, both written and spoken
