The role is responsible to lead the Master Data Management, Enterprise Data Governance projects. The Project Manager is accountable for the successful business needs assessment, project deployment and implementation of all MDM/EDG projects across different business units, and responsible to partner with the different stakeholders involved. Define governance and control in planning and managing all MDM/EDG projects. Act as Ambassador for Master Data and Enterprise Data Governance. Communicate the vision and management of projects.
Section A – Specific Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:
Manage projects related to SAP, Centralization of Reference data, Data Management implementation and others as related to MDM/EDG Vision and Mission.
Lead all project activities:
a. Scope Management
b. Schedule Management (dates, efforts, resources planning, milestones, …)
c. Financial Management (budgets, forecasts, variances, …)
d. Quality Control
e. Customer Satisfaction
f. Risks Management
g. Issues Management
i. Status Reporting
Responsible to maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of organization (e.g. Managers, Directors, Sr. Management level) vis a vis all MDM / EDG projects, including direct liaison with the U.S., and make project decisions accordingly.
Present project status update at the US and Canadian MDM Steering Committee.
Responsible to develop, monitor and present MDM/EDG Dashboard for Steering Committee and Senior Management Reporting.
Direct activities of staff, Evaluation process, etc.
Lead, coach and guide the MDM Technical Analyst to achieve desired business results.
Develop partnership with external data suppliers for what relates to reference data (Client, Vendor, Product) to strengthen McKesson Canada’s internal data.
Responsible to assess project impacts on business and take appropriate actions when needed.Potential impacts on ability to create new client/vendor accounts, product shipments, etc.
Performs other ad hoc activities as required.

Section C – Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, science or computer science or relevant professional experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of data management, analysis, query development
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects or equivalent.
Knowledge of enterprise master data technology initiatives in support of business, operations and technology teams, and knowledge of enterprise master data strategies and best practices.
Strong management, influence and leadership skills
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects while working on a number of different assignments simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office, database management and statistical tools including advanced skills in Excel and MS Access.
Knowledge of SAP/Vistex.
Knowledge of AS400, SQL, MBA.
Bilingual French – English
