Current Need

We are seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

The Data Quality Analyst develops, maintains, and supports product content and standardization for McKesson’s Product Data Hub (PDH) system and B2B website. This role is responsible for the creation of data quality rules, maintenance, and standardization of product content, through the use of Enterprise for Data Quality Product (EDQP) lenses or other relevant software. This role supports and improves online customer experience and internal customer goals and programs. These goals are accomplished through team collaboration and metrics driven goals.

This is a new role that will require moderate to complex work in the EDQP Lenses and (Data Service Applications) DSA’s to ensure the jobs are running correctly and make adjustments or enhancements to our processes where needed

Will also be responsible for helping manage and maintain product data that we send / receive from third party resources to ensure data is complete and standardized. This person will be working closely with vendors / third party sources to gather that information.

Supervision would be more supportive and delegating as this position would require key decisions be made in regards to standardization and processes that we utilize in EDQP. Would develop and implement a plan on incorporating data quality and standardization into the PIM team’s everyday work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain data quality rules and drive standardization / consistency throughout the B2B online catalog leveraging existing software (EDQP, PDH, as well as third party tools and resources)

  • Support project initiatives leveraging EDQP, PDH, and potentially other software products / tools. Make key decisions in the use these software products to drive data quality

  • Help train and support team members on using EDQP DSA’s as well as EDQP software

  • Attribute and improve product content for McKesson’s B2B online catalog

  • Manage the product data transfer between MMS and suppliers or third-party sources

Minimum Requirements

5 years experience in data analysis

Critical Skills

  • 2 Years with relevant technologies:

o Oracle Enterprise Data Quality for Product (EDQP) or other applications that specialize in Data Quality

o Product Data Hub (PDH) or other product information management applications

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, etc

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation/computer skills

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team

  • Results oriented; effective as both a team member and independent worker with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with deliverables completed on time and with high quality

Education

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
