Current Need

We are seeking a License Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

The primary function of this role is to apply for new and submit renewal applications for State license for our distribution centers.

Demonstrates clear and concise communication with team members. Demonstrates fundamental understanding of the law and the ability to interpret the application questions as they relate to the business.

Fundamental understanding of key regulations and legal implications of current work within role. Demonstrates basic ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues

  • Ability to research and interpret basic regulations

  • Completes directed assignments

  • Organizes regulatory information to support the regulatory team

  • Maintain regulatory files and tracking databases on SharePoint site

  • Able to communicate with internal contacts on routine issues

Minimum Requirements

2 years of related experience. Desired backgrounds may include healthcare, Medicare, pharmaceuticals, biologics manufacturing, or clinical research.

Critical Skills

  • 2 years experience in a related regulatory field

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Word, Outlook and Excel

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Some knowledge of regulatory affairs requirements for distributors at the state and federal levels would be beneficial; not required

  • Good decision-making capabilities

  • Highly detail oriented and organized

  • Ability to research and analyze applicable regulations

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or clinical desired

Education

4-year degree or equivalent experience
