Current Need

We are seeking a Process Manager to join our team in our Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL location.

Position Description

Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of assigned projects and processes involving department or cross-functional teams. Focused on the delivery of a project through a finished state for internal/external customers. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include various departments (e.g. Supplier Mgt, Materials Mgt, Private Brand, Marketing, etc.). Plans and directs schedules. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager. May provide project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with sponsor and stakeholders on all matters

  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports

  • Assesses project risks and issues and develops resolutions to meet timeline goals and project objectives. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors

  • Analyzes project data and tracks / reports on project benefits for management team

  • Gain cooperation of others, conducts presentations of technical/process information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.

Minimum Requirements

2 years experience in project management.

Critical Skills

  • 2 years experience in process/project management

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel-pivots and VLookups,)

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Change management experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Team player

Education

4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
