We are seeking an Inbound Supervisor to join our team in Rochester, NY. This role will have 11 direct reports and start at 5 am and end time will vary based on business needs.
Manages and coordinates the daily activities of inbound and inventory control operations for the Rochester distribution center.
Key Responsibilities include:
Managing work flow of receiving dock
Unloading of truck and parcel shipments
Managing receiving team
Managing inventory control team
Resolving inventory issues
Dock security and cleanliness
Coordinating DC physical inventory
Weekly payroll for direct reports
Team coaching and development
PTO coverage of other Operations Supervisors on other shifts may be required
4 years operational experience including 2 years leadership experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to train and develop team
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent ability to resolve conflict in a professional manor
**Shift start time - 5 am and end time will vary based on business needs.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Excellent organizational skills
Problem solving experience
Experience with RF technologies or other WMS systems
4-year degree or equivalent experience
Distribution Center environment
Use of power industrial equipment
Ability to lift to 50 pounds unassisted
