Current Need
We are seeking an Inventory Operations Supervisor to join our team in Roseville, CA in our new state of the art Distribution Center.
Responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments in our Distribution Center.
Inventory Supervisor – Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through daily cycle counts, variance research/resolution, bin verification and problem resolution. Also will be responsible for ensuring an effective replenishment process flow within the DC.
Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
Evaluates employees/departments LMS stats daily to ensure team is meeting productivity & indirect goals.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
Ensures associate safety and builds a positive collaborative.
Minimum Requirements
5 years operational experience including 2 years managerial experience
Critical Skills
2 years experience managing 5 direct reports
5 years experience working in a warehouse/distribution/transportation environment
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with WMS/LMS systems
Excellent Customer Service skill set
Working knowledge of Operations Management
Preferred performance management experience
RF equipment experience preferred
JD Edwards/E1 platform experience preferred
Powered Industrial equipment certification preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
LMS experience preferred
Education
4-year degree or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
General Warehouse/Distribution Center environment
The ability to walk 3-5 miles per day and be on the floor 85% of the day
