McKesson is seeking a Manager, Business Planning and Analytics to support Global Sourcing/NorthStar.
The Manager is Responsible for providing detailed analysis and recommendations in business development, operations and strategic planning. Individual has responsibilities in operations including vendor relationship management, supply chain management, financial communication, etc. Position requires daily interaction with NorthStar US, Ireland, US Pharma, Specialty, MCK legal and other MCK divisions to address operations issues. Individual is a key member of a high caliber team responsible for leading various initiatives to support business growth. Position also provides support for preparation of executive management presentations.
Providesupport to Directors, and SVP on business development activities
Buildnew and continuously improve existing economic models to evaluate businessopportunities including customized analyses to allow for varied deal structuresand sensitivities
Performanalysis in response to competitive market activities for pipeline and commercializedproducts to recommend actions to management
Createschedules for new products added to contracts
Playkey role in growth strategy to expand portfolio in generic injectables
Assistfinance with budgets and long-range plan for NorthStar
Responsiblefor tracking and reporting of NorthStar partners financial performance
Participatein calls with NorthStar suppliers and follow-up on commitments
Provideanalytical support for NorthStar expansion into Europe and Canada
Provideanalytical support for strategic customer initiatives
Evaluatepotential supply and economic impacts
Performcost benefit analyses of expediting product launch shipments
Providesupport on tasks related to NorthStar’s relationships with other McKessondivisions
Accounting/Finance– Provide ad-hoc reports and variance analysis for month-end close andforecasts
NorthStarpipeline communication – Work closely with Ireland product launch teams tomaintain and communicate pipeline changes
Riskmanagement- update product list, launch timelines and revenue projections;provide business operations overview; create NorthStar documentation; participatein annual insurance renewal process
Legal-key contact for revenue projections, launch timeline changes, updates toproducts under evaluation, etc PAF inputs
Continuousimprovement of operational processes including leading cross-function teams toexecute on opportunities
Responsiblefor day-to-day returns and recalls
Relationshipmanagement with internal (McKesson Reverse Logistics, RDC, MFC services, etc.)and external (Inmar, retail chains, etc.)
Responsiblefor all NorthStar’s recall responsibilities in the US (issue credits tocustomers, bill back to supplier, etc.)
Analyzeand improve NorthStar product destruction process and costs, specificallyopportunities to lower destruction related reimbursements
ManageNorthStar’s activities in the US for complaints and ADE processes
Respondto all business and operational questions
Researchrefund requests from Medcomm and process invoices for all valid requests
Workwith Ireland to manage relationships with freight providers, pay invoices,resolve customs queries and issues
Maintainrelationship with charitable donation entities and ensure donations process andexecution is done in line with all compliance requirements
AssistNorthStar Controller to calculate tax benefit and accounting entry for anydonations for year-end tax filing
Providesupport to senior management in preparing presentations for:
Prepdecks for supplier and other executive meetings
Businesscases for management
GlobalSourcing- Answer questions and produce supporting slides for various businessupdates
Responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
- 8 years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables)
7 years of progressive experience in business planning, analytics, operations and technical responsibility
Experienced in financial and analytical modeling
Ability to manage several high priority workflows concurrently and delivering results on time
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience creating reports and business metrics, experience with SQL/T-SQL preferred
Experience creating reports and business metrics
Project Management experience
- MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
