Current Need

McKesson Technology is looking for a Senior Change Leader to ensure the organization has a clear focus, vision and process for Change that maximizes its ability to effectively achieve business goals and outcomes. This Change Lead role will take a comprehensive approach to create sustainable change within a transformation program for McKesson Technology.

This position can be located in Alpharetta, GA; Las Colinas, TX; Scottsdale, AZ

Position Description

The Sr. Change Leader will be responsible for change leadership plans and outcomes that drive acceptance and adoption of people, process and technology changes within the McKesson Technology organization. This person will provide change leadership expertise in accordance with McKesson and external best practices and will work collaboratively across stakeholder groups to ensure coordination and alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop change strategies and plans

  • Develop stakeholder engagement / communication plans

  • Engage and align key stakeholders to change plan to ensure adoption of changes

  • Develop and distribute communications per established plan, as needed

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, summarize results, develop and execute action plan based on outcomes

  • Conduct change impact assessments, summarize results and build detailed strategies and plans based on outcomes

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder inventory for communications and training activities

  • Collaborate with HR regarding any organizational impacts and related communications and / or training

  • Develop training content including user guides, job aids or other support resources, if applicable

  • Coordinate logistics for process and / or technical training, if applicable

  • Establish and maintain champion network, if applicable

Minimum Requirements

Typically has 7 years relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 7 years leading large-scale change efforts by developing effective change leadership plans to achieve business outcomes

  • Significant experience with Change leadership methodologies and best practices

  • Experience developing and implementing solid change plans to achieve business value

  • Ability to interact with executive level stakeholders and gain alignment on change activities

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, including the ability to collaborate with business subject matter experts for validating / updating communications and/or training content

  • Ability to clearly develop and articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.

  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new business processes and applications and work independently

  • Ability to manage and execute change activities with the flexibility to change plans quickly, as needed

  • Familiarity with delivering business value in an agile framework

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Big 4 consulting experience strongly preferred

  • IT / ERP experience preferred

  • Change management certification or designation a plus

  • Knowledge of Agile practices a plus

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
