Position Description

The Sr Enterprise Data Analyst will utilize data analytics in solving complex business problems and work in close collaboration with clinical and corporate stakeholders to provide business solutions. This role will work with structured and unstructured data in batch and real-time data streaming environments. The candidate will have in depth knowledge of master, reference and transactional data and the proper treatment of each in complex, heterogeneous technical environments. This Sr Enterprise Data Analyst will have in depth knowledge and experience with Data Quality identification, impact, visibility and remediation of incomplete, inaccurate or inconsistent data. The candidate will work in both traditional data warehouses as well as cloud data lake and data warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce best practices for data analytics and proper data treatment.

  • Support IT system engineers and business stakeholders

  • Provide architecture, design and automation process options to better increase efficiencies with data usage across multiple platforms.

  • Provide IT leadership to ensure delivery of data on time and meeting scope and quality expectations

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems

Critical Skills:

  • 5 or more years of related experience in data analytics

  • 5 or more years working in integration environments using Informatica (ICS, ICR, Powercenter), Spark, MuleSoft or other ESB and iPaaS tools.

  • Experienced working with both structured and unstructured data.

  • Experienced in both on premise and cloud data stores (Oracle, SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, HDFS, Kafka, Flume)

  • Familiar with Java, Python, Scala, R, SQL or NoSQL

Additional Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to function productively on multiple project teams simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently without any supervision

  • Experienced working in a high paced environment and ability to work effectively under pressure/stressful conditions to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work well in a team and interact effectively, including the ability to mentor and provide leadership to other engineers.

  • Ability to provide level of effort estimates and to perform tasks within the estimated level of effort and schedule

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration a plus

  • Knowledge of ITIL is an asset

Education:

  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

  • ITIL certifications a plus
