The McKesson Technology team is looking for a Technology Collaboration Manager to support our five Talent Hubs focusing on technologist community to include: collaboration, recruiting, communication and engagement.
This position can be located in Alpharetta, Las Colinas, Scottsdale or SFO.
The role will coordinate the acquisition and retention of top technical talent in the local hub regions, support a cross-hub engagement and leadership team, and will help develop a long-term communication strategy and plan for the function. The hubs include 4 domestic locations and 1 international location in Ireland. This role will support various projects that will drive a stronger employee culture and community. Additionally, this role will own the Technologists’ Platform; encouraging collaboration, communications, and curating information repositories. (S)he will help drive success metrics like hiring rates, employee engagement, retention, and developmental opportunities. (S)he will partner with the HR team, the communications team, the Strategy team, and the McKesson Technology Leadership team to ensure alignment on the overall functional strategy and growth. (S)he will partner with local universities, external technical communities, vendors, facilities/real estate, conference boards and technical resources to support new initiatives and networking for the teams.
Cultivates and maintains a collaborative and fun culture
Participates in workspace design and layout
Owner of talent hub communication plan and strategy
Leverages collaboration platforms and tools to ensure that proper channels and communication are used to support engagement
Curates information for the technologist community
Coordinates the talent pipeline partnerships, outreach and ongoing relationships with universities, boot camps, etc.
Oversees the talent hub budgets and provides guidance, insights into forecasting for enterprise initiatives and events
Consolidates metrics and successes at the hubs and supports branding/communication to the leadership team
Responsible for onboarding and orientation plan for new hires at the talent hubs. Ensures that we have consistency in the process.
Ensures standups are taking place at the hubs and provides guidance and recommendation on cadence and cross-hub connections and meetings
Helps in the coordination of meetings
Assists on projects, as needed
Typically has 4 years relevant experience.
Digital enablement; enabling users with proper work related and collaboration tools
2-3 years of change management and/or communication experience
Familiarity with space planning to optimize team collaboration
Sets the tone for a fun and lively culture
Facilitates the enablement of tools and communities for collaboration
Identifies information to share and curate
Positive, can do attitude, being always willing to jump in and help your team members
Proven ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with confidential issues
Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Tech industry experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft collaboration tools and Office 365 products beneficial
Start-Up experience preferred
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
