Position Description

This role is responsible for implementing Talent Management Practices with the HRBPs and business leaders across the enterprise through communication and change management. Reporting to and partnering with the Sr. Manager TM and Succession, this role will need to deliver operational excellence in talent review, succession and assessment and development of high potential talent. Key skills and abilities include project management, communication, strong collaboration, design/development of resources, and a results orientation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management- Leverage strong project management skills to ensure on- time delivery of project/program work. Leads Project scope and objectives, with support from manager. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client- satisfaction goals. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems. Uses metrics and dashboards to monitor progress, as needed.

  • HRBP Engagement for Talent Review, Succession, High Potential assessment and development

  • Consultation: Partner with Jr HRBPs and HRAs to build capability in talent management principles. Design and deliver BU/Fx TRP presentations aligned with Executive TRP toolkit.

  • Communication and Change Management: Assist in production of common calendar for HRBPs with TMD process cycles and timelines. Provide input to master communication plan to deliver seamless messaging to HRBP community.

  • Resources: Design, launch and maintain central access point of TMD integrated resources on McKNet, SharePoint or another tool. Build and manage self-service Org Development/Team development toolkits (Leader Assimilations, ICARE/ILEAD tools, DISC, StrengthsFinder, etc.)

  • System/Workday: Manage communication, change management, training design, succession plan migration, reporting, system updates tracking, etc. and training

  • Consultation for Organizational Effectiveness, Culture and Engagement Resources: Conduct intakes and executes on BU/Fx organizational effectiveness requests as determined by Sr. Manager TM (e.g. strategic planning, team development, EOS, performance management, leadership assimilation, change management); route to appropriate internal and external resources or build HRBP and business leader capabilities to deliver solutions through tool kits and coaching.

  • High Potential Assessment: Coach high potential leaders (Individual Contributors and Emerging Talent) to identify aspirations and critical capabilities, assessment insights (360 and Hogan), and development actions to prepare for future roles.

Minimum Requirements

4 years of experience in areas such as talent management, organization development or related area in large, complex organizations.

Critical Skills

  • 2-3 years experience with commonly used Talent Management concepts, practices, and procedures; Proven ability to execute on Talent Management projects and programs

  • 2-3 years experience designing and developing principles, process or systems to drive improvements

  • 2-3 years experience in influencing without authority, develops and maintains effective relationships with all departments and employees

  • Relationship management experience; ability to work effectively with multiple internal clients

  • Strong project management skills – planning, prioritizing and organizing.

  • Presentation skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Results orientation; getting things done effectively and efficiently

  • Resilient and highly flexible; demonstrates the ability to change directions quickly and often in rapid paced environment

  • Quick learner; Innovative problem solver

  • Strong Collaboration skills; working across businesses and functions with multiple levels of the organization

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Previous Workday experience

  • Project Management Certification

Education

4-year degree in business, human resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
